CinéMémoire, the Cinematheque home movies from Marseille, created in recent years, with Film Marseille, the Rendezvous Archive, a regular program in cycles bi-monthly on topics related to the history of Marseille and the PACA region. These meetings, along the lines of cabinets of collectors of the nineteenth century, during which rare films from private funds are proposed and discussed at the Alcazar .

The water control has always been a vital concern for the Provence region, who suffered two contradictory phenomena: drought and water shortage on the one hand, floods and other flood hand. Men have changed the landscape to soften the natural and be an ally, but sometimes nature has reasserted itself ...
The films reflect this duality and the complex relationship and maintained the plural What Provencal with Water:

Memory of a village: Les Salles sur Verdon 1972-1974 (extracts 14min30) Bernard Mariotti
1972: Bernard Mariotti, amateur filmmaker, films with his Super 8 camera for a village in the Var to disappear under the waters of an artificial lake. The dam of Holy Cross on the Verdon will be started and the author records during his walks workflow. In 2004, to mark the 30th anniversary of the evacuation of Salles-sur-Verdon , he directed a documentary from his Super 8 film that provides former inhabitants.
