" INF ' WATER VERDON" (edited by the Regional Natural Park of Verdon) present in the No. 12 Spring 2010 - an article which we informed of an experiment in bioengineering designed to solve the security problems of some banks of Lake St. Croix. These problems are rooted in the natural erosion of riverbanks. A study was conducted by the EDF in the framework of the partnership agreement with the Park. The work aims to "protect and stabilize the banks as naturally as possible by setting up live willow piles of large diameter and in large quantities at the foot of the cliff to revegetate the beach and thus slow the erosion process "Early work on the town of Sainte Croix du Verdon (March April 2010)
